DMF’s first foray into motorsports was 25 years ago, when he first competed in Slalom Racing. It was an uphill battle, as he learned the hard way to tune and set up his own racecar. It was this time when he honed his skills and made every learning experience count. Nine years later, he opened up DMF Motorsports. A Racing Garage, with a Racing Team that through the years spawned team racers for all forms of motorsports like Slalom, Rally, Drag, Autocross, Rally Cross, and now Drifting. Not only was David a top-notch race-mechanic, but he would also compete himself as much as possible. This garnered him the respect of many, as he understood both sides of the coin and excelled at both, building race-winning cars, and winning trophies left and right for the races he joined as well.

It was at 2004 that DMF decided to take on a new challenge in his motorsport career, and decided to bring in Drifting to the Philippines. Realizing that his driving style was actually the motorsport craze in Japan, he then set-up a couple of AE86 for drifting and proceeded to teach his friends and fellow enthusiasts the basic skills needed to learn the sport and transformed DMF Motorsports into what is now known as DMF DRIFT. It is an organization that would help even more in paving the way for new drifters and drivers interested in drifting. DMF DRIFT GARAGE is the major component and moving force behind it and is the first of its kind…a garage and shop in one that caters and specializes in tuning, setting up and building drift cars and selling drift parts. DMF DRIFT GARAGE offers a variety of services and parts custom or otherwise that are essential and important to building or setting up your car into the drift machine you want it to be.
